The keynote of the project "Spice your talent up" is the portrait of the European student in the age of a pandemic. It is dedicated and addressed to students aged 7 to 15 and focuses on the broadly understood impact of remote learning on learning and functioning in a pandemic.
The project, which was launched in 2019, was a specific response to the needs of students and further motivation to act. From the very beginning, it is the students with the support of teachers and parents who are very much involved in the implementation of this project and are the primary co-creators of this project.
The background of the project is a pandemic that changed our functioning and forced us to redesign our current lifestyle, solutions and patterns. The weeks at home were a great time to observe yourself in an unsimulated but real situation. It was a good time for an internal audit, checking how talents work, what we know about ourselves, looking at our skills and how we deal with a difficult and real situation. Forced isolation from peers was a good time to look at yourself and your talents.
The project is a local and international online communication project as part of the implementation of project activities.
Contact with peers of foreign partner schools will not only contribute to the development of language skills and intercultural sensitivity, but will also make all project participants feel needed and noticed.
The basis of the project is the need - but not only the one that is associated with the desire to be famous or seeking recognition among peers, but the cultivation of passion, above all. A student who talks to others about values reflects, recognizes a given value and transfers it to his own ground.
It is a kind of adventure of searching for talents and values, not only those confirmed by certificates and the title of laureate in the language Olympics.
